Push the Boundaries of Extraction with the New Hiflux HIGH FAST

Hiflux HIGH FAST filters are designed for baristas and coffee enthusiasts who want to go beyond the limitations of traditional paper filters. Thanks to their highly permeable structure, they enable faster flow rates and provide greater flexibility when adjusting grind size and other extraction parameters.

Hiflux Filters use regenerated fiber technology based on Lyocell. This highly permeable, three-dimensional fiber structure allows water to flow up to 42% faster than through a conventional paper filter.

High Flow Rate

The filter's structure allows water to flow more easily through the ground coffee, reducing the risk of slowdowns or clogging, particularly when using finer grind sizes.

This high flow rate makes it possible to explore higher extraction levels while maintaining controlled drawdown times, helping ensure a balanced flavor profile.

Selective Filtration

The unique mesh structure allows some fine particles, particularly those smaller than 20 μm, to pass through the filter.

These particles can contribute to greater body and texture in the cup while maintaining the flavor clarity typically associated with pour-over brewing.

Neutral Flavor Profile

The material is designed to minimize unwanted flavors introduced by the filter, preserving the coffee's natural aromatic characteristics as much as possible.

As with most filters, we still recommend rinsing them with approximately 100 g of water before brewing to ensure the best possible results in the cup.

Wave

The Wave-shaped filters are designed for flat-bottom drippers such as the Orea, Kalita, and Solo Dripper.

The flatter, shallower coffee bed compared with conical filters promotes particularly even extraction, resulting in greater sweetness and texture in the cup.

The filter's pleated design helps maintain its structure while allowing controlled bypass, contributing to a balanced extraction.
