LUCID | Formed for flavour. Crafted for clarity.

Lucid is huhu’s original ceramic sensory cup, developed for specialty coffee tasting, professional competition and everyday pour-over.

Its distinctive form follows a sensory purpose. The flared, open rim is designed to allow aroma to gather and release towards the nose before the coffee reaches the palate, inviting the aromatic layers of the cup to unfold.

Within the body, a concave base guides coffee along the curved interior as the cup is tilted. This geometry is intended to bring aroma and flavour forward together, supporting a balanced, consistent expression from the first sip to the last.

Each cup is hand-thrown and trimmed and then fired at high temperature in Jingdezhen. Careful control of the form preserves its functional proportions, while subtle variations retain the warmth and individuality of the handmade ceramic.
